1979 to present - establishment and operation of Guild Laboratories, Inc., Los Angeles, CA. Testing/grading laboratory and appraiser of diamonds & gemstones & all types of jewelry, coins & currency, silver and related personal property. Gemstone cutting, recutting and treatment services.  Jewelry design and brokering of jewelry and coins in auction, wholesale and retail markets.

Appraisal assignments in 15 U.S. states and territories and 4 foreign countries

1971 to 1979 - Importer of colored gemstones from Asia and South America (concurrent with other overseas employment through 1977).

Gem & mineral and coin & currency hobbyist/collector since early 1960’s.

INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING & APPRAISING

World Bank gemological consultant establishing a gemological testing laboratory in Madagascar within the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
